Annual Water Tank Cleaning Plans (AMC) in Delhi — Worth It?
The maths on annual contracts for homes and societies, and the one benefit that has nothing to do with money.
An AMC is two to four scheduled cleanings a year at a locked rate. For a single 1,000-litre home tank the saving is modest. For anything larger — or anything shared — it changes the economics and, more importantly, the outcome.

The indirect saving is bigger
The real cost of not having an AMC is not the ₹200 discount you missed. It is the eighteen-month gap that happens because nobody was tracking it. A tank cleaned on schedule takes ninety minutes. The same tank at eighteen months has bonded biofilm and settled silt, needs longer jetting and often a second disinfection pass, and in the meantime your family drank from it.
