The tower configuration

A Noida tower typically has one or two large underground reservoirs taking the municipal or borewell supply, pumps lifting to terrace tanks, and gravity distribution down to flats. The flat owner controls nothing. The AOA controls everything, and the entire building is served or not served together.

Why this makes scheduling the hard part

• The UGR cannot be taken offline without planning around pumping schedules
• Terrace tanks must be done after the UGR, not before
• Hundreds of flats need notice, and a dry afternoon generates complaints fast
• Staging across blocks is the only way to keep supply continuous

Towers on groundwater should budget for three rounds a year, not two, and expect the first clean of an old reservoir to take descaling time.
